Postiano. A beautiful town on the coast with an amazing beach surrounded by lush green mountains. The sun came out and i got to enjoy laying on the beach drinking beers and soaking up this gorgeous town with great friends. We also got to eat at a restaurant called “Le tre sorelle” and i had an amazing seafood risotto!
Sorrento! This is where we stayed for our 5 days here in the Amalfi coast. A perfect small town filled with lemon groves, limoncello, covered in wisteria, and right on the coast of the beautiful blue ocean. It was all we could ask for and more! I had the BEST panino (prosciutto, pomodori, mozzarella, oregano and oil) I have ever had here in a little shop, soo good we went back the next day. There is something about fresh ingredients that makes the food down here soo delicioussss. Of course with my stokes of bad luck it poured rain for 2 days when we were here. Someone told me in Sorrento when it rains, it pours. and to no surprise they were right. So we got to just hang out and relax for a little while on our trip while it thundered and rained like crazy!
Milanooooo. I expected very little from this city but was quickly proven wrong. We visited during spring and it only added to the beauty of this city. Coming from Firenze where well there are very little trees in the center it was so
Nice to see trees everywhere lush green and flowers in bloom. I had the BEST pistacchio gelato I have ever had here at ciuri ciuri. The cathedral is by far one of the most beautiful churches I have seen. Such beautiful stain glass, it truly leaves you speechless. We also watched a pigeon literally crash right in front of us and fall in front of this lady and basically die right in front of the cathedral. Haha so terribly sad, ironic, funny and a memory I won’t forget.
AMSTERDAM. Ha well this ranks up with my favorite cities I’ve experienced for multiple reasons. First, the vibe in this city is vibrant, liberal, open and fresh! Canals running in the streets, bikes EVERYWHERE, I couldn’t help but smile walking around this city. Although English is very prevalent here I was pleased whenever I walked around it wasn’t what I first heard. Dutch is an interesting language… my friends and I concluded it sounds kinda like the people in that old computer game sims, gibberish basically haha. One of my roomies was in love with Hunger games so we got a chance to see the movie while we were there, got me hooked to start reading the books. Now let’s be real, being able to legally smoke weed was something I was dying to see since well it’s no secret that I love to. To my surprise it was different than I had envisioned, in a good way! First you order what you want off a menu by the gram, similar to a clinic in CA except your in a cafe! The one we spent most of our time at was Barney’s, the famous cannabis cup winner for years in a row. The quality of the stuff there is…pretty good haha. G13 haze was the one that took me and harms to space! The interesting facts i found funny, at a lot of cafes you cant drink alcohol but you can smoke weed (who’s got it right america? Haha lets be real what kills more) also i was expecting these places to be swarmed by tourists being retarded about the whole thing but i was surprised when instead it was the opposite. Seeing older guys in suits come in and roll a blunt and hang out is something I found awesome. We also got to stop and see rembrandt house, see a guy carve out clogs on the side of a canal, eat crepe pancakes, stroll around red light district, and tons more. Needless to say I have to come back to experience this city again.
Praha. Everyone always describes this place as a fairy tale and after having spent a few days there I know why. A city surrounded by so much beauty and history. Walking along the river, through the castle, strolling Charles bridge Prague is a place you must see with your own eyes to understand. Remarkable, a real life fairy tale
Hungarian baths! Haha okay this was definitely an experience. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but I had a blast. Sometimes you just have to remember your in a different country and step out of your comfort zone! My motto is to try everything once, and I’m really glad I got the chance to experience this while I was in Hungary.
